Terms and Conditions
(A) SCOPE OF APPLICATION
The provisions of this regulation apply to the studio under the name "Core Collective," operated by the company "THE WELLNESS KOLLECTIVE, LDA," with corporate identification number 517.699.087, binding all who attend it, namely its users. Strict compliance with the regulations is essential for the coexistence of all users and the proper functioning of the studio, and we appreciate everyone's cooperation.
(B) CONDITIONS OF ACCESS TO THE STUDIO FACILITIES
Access to the studio is subject to booking the selected classes by users.
Users are not allowed to bring guests, including third parties to assist in physical exercise at the studio, except with prior written authorization from the studio's Technical Director.
Access to the studio is only permitted within its operating hours, which are posted and accessible at any time.
The entry and presence of animals in the studio are prohibited, except for assistance dogs.
(C) SPACE
The space consists of 9 rooms, 6 bathrooms, and 2 changing rooms.
(D) FITNESS FOR PHYSICAL EXERCISE
Users assume responsibility and guarantee the absence of any medical or health contraindications for engaging in physical and sports activities.
If feeling unwell, users should not start exercising. In case of discomfort during exercise, they should immediately stop and seek help from a Core Collective staff member.
A medical certificate is required for users to attend classes during pregnancy. Failure to present this certificate will prevent pregnant users from attending sessions.
(E) GROUP CLASSES
The maximum number of participants in group classes is defined by the studio’s Technical Director.
Whenever a class involves the use of equipment or instruments, the enrolled user is responsible for their proper use and storage at the end of the class.
The studio will provide towels and disinfectant.
Clients are responsible for cleaning the machines at the end of each class.
"Core Collective" reserves the right to change group class schedules without prior notice. However, whenever possible, members will be notified in advance.
The start time of group classes must be respected by the member, and "Core Collective" reserves the right to refuse entry to the class if it has already started.
Each client should arrive 5-10 minutes before their class starts.
The use of mobile phones is prohibited during group classes.
Remaining in or using the studio without an instructor present is not permitted.
(F) RECOMMENDATIONS
For those who have never used an Xformer or Reformer, we recommend starting with an introductory class or booking a private session before joining group classes.
(G) REGISTRATION
Registration is done online via the studio's website.
After registration, the user will have access to the studio’s membership conditions and must accept them.
By registering, the user accepts the Physical Activity Aptitude Responsibility Statement, assuming responsibility for their health status concerning the activities they intend to engage in.
(H) RETAIL SALE OF PRODUCTS IN THE SPACE
This space offers the resale of some products, which can be purchased at the reception desk responsible for the space.
(I) USE OF THE EXERCISE ROOM
Users must follow the instructions of the "Core Collective" staff and seek their advice.
The person responsible for the exercise room may ask any user to leave if their behavior disrupts the normal functioning of the space.
(J) PAYMENT
For the proper operation of "Core Collective," the registration fee and selected usage fees must be paid at the time of booking.
Failure to comply with the previous point will result in the user being unable to use the facilities, and "Core Collective" may cancel any booked classes until the outstanding balance is settled.
(K) INSURANCE
"Core Collective" provides workplace accident insurance in accordance with Article 14 of Decree-Law No. 10/2009, dated January 12, with amendments introduced by Law No. 27/2011, dated June 16.
Information on the existence of the aforementioned insurance is visibly posted for users.
(L) REFUNDS
"Core Collective" reserves the right to refuse refunds of any amounts duly calculated and received for its services.
(M) PROHIBITION OF ACCESS AND STAY IN THE STUDIO
"Core Collective" reserves the right to deny users access to the studio or to remove them whenever: (a) They have outstanding debts to the studio; (b) Their behavior disrupts the normal operation of the space; (c) Their behavior endangers the safety of people present in the studio; (d) Their behavior violates the gym’s hygiene rules; (e) They are visibly intoxicated, under the influence of drugs, or mentally incapacitated; (f) They generally violate the provisions of the regulations.
(N) LOST AND FOUND
"Core Collective" is not responsible for any items left in the studio.
(O) VALIDITY AND CHANGES
The terms of use take effect the day after their posting in the studio and remain valid indefinitely.
These terms of use may be updated at any time by "Core Collective" whenever necessary or desirable, without prior notice to users, to comply with legal requirements or operational changes. Users will always have online access to the current terms.
This document will always be available online and can be freely consulted, saved, or printed at any time, even without registering on the site.
Any changes will be communicated online to registered users.
Subsequent access and use of the site by the user will be considered an unequivocal sign that they have read, accepted, and understood the revised Terms and Conditions, except where changes to Core Collective's personal data processing policy occur, in which case explicit prior authorization will be required from the user.
(P) APPLICABLE LAW/JURISDICTION
These General Conditions are governed by Portuguese law.
(Q) FINAL PROVISIONS
All persons wishing to make purchases on this site declare that they are of legal age and legally qualified to do so.
For any purchase made on this site, it is considered that the user has full knowledge of and accepts these Terms and Conditions of Use.

I HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND ACCEPT THESE TERMS OF USE AND THE PRIVACY POLICY OF CORE COLLECTIVE AND DECLARE THAT MY USE OF THE SERVICE IMPLIES ACCEPTANCE OF ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT.
(R) PRIVACY POLICY
Core Collective is committed to preserving the privacy and confidentiality of all information provided by the user.
This privacy policy establishes the measures taken by Core Collective regarding personal data collected directly from the user and/or through the website www.thecorecollective.eu, in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Law and other applicable national and European legislation.
The term "personal data" means all information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, understood as an individual who can be identified, directly or indirectly, particularly by reference to an identifier such as a name, identification code, location data, electronic identifiers, or one or more specific elements of the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity of that individual.
NOTICE IN CASE OF CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY
Continuous efforts to improve resources and add new features to the website www.thecorecollective.eu, as well as existing services, mean constant changes and improvements, adjustments to applicable legal regulations, and technological advancements, which may result in modifications to data processing practices.
Whenever there is any change to this privacy policy, Core Collective will inform the User of their rights and the responsible control authority, as required by law.
COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA INCLUDING EMAIL ADDRESS
To access certain services on the Core Collective website, users may be required to provide the following data: name, address, email address, phone number, IBAN, and taxpayer number.
Users may also be asked to provide geographical information or details related to personal preferences and interests to enable Core Collective to offer a more personalized service.
The information provided will be stored in Core Collective databases, either manually or electronically.
PERSONAL DATA
Visiting the Core Collective website does not require the automatic registration of any personal data that identifies a User. However, some non-personal information that is not associated with a specific User may be collected and recorded by Core Collective’s internet servers (for example, the type of internet browser, the operating system used to access the Core Collective web pages) to improve navigation and site management for the User.
Nonetheless, to use certain Content or Services, Core Collective may request specific personal data from the User. Core Collective will provide the User with the necessary information so that they can give explicit and prior consent for the processing of their personal data for one or more specific purposes and for its incorporation into Core Collective's corresponding files.
The collected data is automatically processed and intended, within Core Collective, to establish User/Client status, facilitate the issuance of vouchers, and support future contacts, including direct marketing actions.
The data collected is also intended to fulfill legal obligations and use in contractual relationships with insurers, banks, and other institutions. Core Collective is committed to maintaining strict confidentiality regarding all data, restricting access only to what is necessary for normal operations.
The User expressly authorizes the transfer of their personal data to Core Collective’s commercial partners and explicitly permits its use by Core Collective for advertising, marketing, or promotional purposes.
In the event of non-compliance by the User, data may be transferred to third parties for debt collection purposes.
The respective data owner is assured, under applicable national and international legislation (particularly Law No. 67/98, of October 26, and Regulation (EU) No. 2016/679, of April 27, 2016), the right to access, rectify, erase, limit, or object to the processing of their data, as well as the right to data portability.
Core Collective will only contact the User through any online/electronic device when the User has explicitly given prior consent.
CANCELLATION
If the User no longer wishes to receive emails from Core Collective and wants to be removed from the electronic mailing list, they may request this at any Core Collective establishment or send an email to studio@corecollective.eu, with the subject "Unsubscribe from Emails".
If the User also wishes to be removed from the postal mailing list, they may do so by emailing the same address above, with the subject "Postal Mail Cancellation", or by writing to our headquarters.
COLLECTION OF PREFERENCES AND PERSONAL INTERESTS THROUGH THE SITE www.thecorecollective.eu
In addition to data collection through the means mentioned above, when expressly authorized, Core Collective uses technology that allows for the collection of information about users of the website www.thecorecollective.eu. For example, the site server automatically records which pages were visited and which browser was used.
Our site contains links to other pages within our site. This technology can also be used to monitor the frequency of these links' usage and which pages are most viewed.
When provided by the user of the Core Collective site, this information may be used for direct marketing purposes.
(S) COOKIE POLICY
To collect personal preferences and interests through the website, temporary "cookies" may be used, which will remain in the user's browser cookie file until it is closed. A cookie is a small piece of information sent to the user's server and stored on their computer’s hard drive, causing no harm to the device.
Core Collective’s use of cookies always requires the User’s explicit authorization, who will be notified and can, upon being informed, choose to accept or reject them.
